The Senior Club Competitive program is for athletes 19+ who have rowing experience and who can demonstrate rowing competency, overall fitness and a commitment to the training schedule. Senior athletes train year round and compete regularly throughout the summer and fall at various local and national regattas.
Participants should be in the Learning to Compete, Training to Compete or Training to Win stage of the Long Term Athlete Development model.
For the 2019/2020 season, there are two options for those racing at regattas in the Senior category but who are not part of the MRA team. Those under 21 are welcome to join with the Junior and Senior B programs (U21). Those 21+ will train with the Adult Competitive (Masters) program.
Training Sessions (Spring & Summer 2019):
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 5:30 – 7:00 am
Saturday: 8:00 – 9:30 am
