October 9th Long Distance Row

A 42KM row is being planned for this Sunday morning at around 8:00AM if there’s enough interest. The row will start & end at the WRC dock and go upstream. The organizers are hoping to find a spot to dock to allow people to choose between doing half the row or the full row. It will be in 4x’s and 2x’s. Further details are being worked out.

Head of the RED, Saturday, September 24

Winnipeg Rowing Club (WRC) is once again hosting a Head of the Red on Saturday, September 24, 2016.  The event is open to novice, junior, senior and masters competitors. A number of different events will be offered — to suit all rowers’ abilities!

The race is a 5000 meter Stake Boat Race with a turnaround at the mid-point. All races start and finish in front of the WRC club house.

Registrations are due by Wednesday, September 21 and can be emailed to to headofthered@winnipegrowingclub.ca .
