Despite today’s cold & damp weather, WRC members were able to launch the first sections of the dock, complete with new ramp decking. Others worked tirelessly at tidying up indoors; sweeping & mopping the entire club, as well as a full clean out of the locker rooms in preparation for the beginning of our on-water season.
The rowing season has now begun! Please keep in mind that with current temperatures and general water conditions, rowing will be restricted based on the Loop Rowing zone of our Rowing Zone Safety Grid. Athletes wanting to get on the water, must ensure they have registered on both Regatta Central, Rowing Canada, and have watched the RCA Safety Video (as well as sign the form at the club) prior to their first on-water session.
