Congratulations to Sandra Kirby who was recently awarded the Rowing Canada Aviron Umpire of the Year Award! Sandi is a very active FISA umpire officiating local, national and international regattas. She also created the RCA Umpire Committee, is a Member of the RCA Umpire Committee and has been elected to and now Chair of the Umpire Education and Development sub-committee of the RCA Umpire Committee.
In addition her dedication to umpiring, Sandi coaches the Masters program at the Winnipeg Rowing Club where she continues to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for rowing.
