Derek Riley, a lifelong member of the Winnipeg Rowing Club,  was inducted into the Order of Canada during a ceremony Wednesday at Rideau Hall in Ottawa. Riley was appointed a member of the Order of Canada for his contributions to the community as a businessman, athlete and philanthropist.

  2. Wondering if this is the same Derek Riley who rowed in the Royal Canadian Henley Juniors in 1949 when the oar broke in the middle of the race. If so, my dad was rowing in that race with him as a team mate. How would I get in touch with Derek?
