“Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweepin’ down the plain” held true for two days of racing at the Oklahoma Regatta Festival. This year’s events combined the Head of the Oklahoma with USRowing’s Master National Head Race Championship Regatta, where forty-two Winnipeg Rowing Club athletes competed in a multitude of events.
WRC had some great results coming home with many medals with notable first place finishes in 11 events. (For Master events where multiple age categories are racing at the same time, medals were awarded according to a crew’s finish in relation to their age category.)
