The WRC skills rodeo is a friendly competition to enhance your skills as a rower. The event starts at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, followed by a cowboy lunch.
Only small boat entries are accepted so you can enter as a single or a double, or both. There will be four categories: Novice Women, Novice Men, Women and Men – where athletes who have taken a LTR course or started rowing after April 2011 are considered NOVICE. Each athlete will be given a score card with the goal of collecting as many points as possible based on points assigned for the full execution of the skill. Bonus points are set up throughout the events to promote advanced skill development. Click here for details on the Events in the Skills Rodeo.
The cost to register is $10 (includes lunch) due by Thursday, September 19th. The docks will be closed starting at 8:30 am to allow for set up.
