Winnipeg rowers Kevin Kowalyk and Paul Thiessen have been selected to represent Canada at international rowing events.
Kevin Kowalyk was named to Rowing Canada’s Senior National team in the Men’s Quad. His crew finished second on the final day of racing of the Koninklijke Holland Becker in Amsterdam, Netherlands, then was 10th in the World Cup 3 event in Lucrene, Switzerland.
Paul Thiessen, who was just named to Canada’s 2013 World Rowing U23 Team, will race in the Men’s Double at the 2013 U23 World Rowing Championships in Linz, Austria July 24-28, 2013.
