The 2011 Community Rowing Challenge Regatta took place on the Red River Sunday, August 28. Seven teams took part in the event and tested their rowing skills with some friendly racing.
National Leasing’s “Lease Lightening”, with crew members Andrew Thorne, Dannette Shaw, Tina Rochon Neufeld and Tanya Pomanski, came out on top winning the A side final. Congratulations to all the crews and a big thank you to the regatta volunteers and coaches for helping make the event a success.
