A small group of WRC rowers headed south this past weekend to take part in the Duluth International Regatta. Kaitlin Rempel brought home gold in the Open Women’s 1x, beating second place by over 11 seconds. The men’s crews faced some tough water conditions on Lake Superior as wind and swells made for challenging conditions. The men’s quad of Dave Cooke, Mark Zwaagstra, Anthony Linton and Paul Thiessen placed second and men’s double of Dave Cooke and Mark Zwaagstra placed 3rd.
