The following amendment to WRC’s safety policy regarding rowing times is in effect immediately, and will be presented at the next board meeting for approval.
Rower’s, including independent rowers, may row more than 30 minutes before sunrise or 30 minutes after sunset if:
1) the rower or crew is accompanied or under the care of a coach in a coach boat.
2) the rowing shell has a working Red or Red/Green light on the bow AND a White light on the stern.
3) the rower or crew follow traffic patterns very carefully
