Water temperature have finally reached 18 degrees so we are now into open rowing. All members must be familiar with the WRC flow pattern and safety rules which can be found in the club Handbook. Also remember the following:
All members must sign out/in.
Always bring a PFD in the boat.
Check the weather and be aware of the conditions. No rowing in dangerous conditions.
Rowers must not launch more than 30 min before sunrise and must be off of the water 30 min before sunset.
If you are the last one in the club (any time of day), please make sure to lock up (boat bays, windows, doors).
Be familiar with the WRC’s emergency procedures and safety rules.
IT IS ALWAYS BEST TO ROW WITH A BUDDY!
Any member who is part of a program (Senior, Master, Rec, Novice) please get the approval of your coach if you would like to row outside of designated training times. All Junior rowers must be accompanied on the water by a coach boat.
